The scoring blade mounts to the end of the rod just like the marking blade and is easily reversed. You will use this blade for deep scoring, paring, and for trimming or cutting thin materials like veneers and leather. It can also be combined with one adjustable mortise blade for laying out smaller mortise and tenons.
