This blade is a variable-pitch blade (14 TPI to 10 TPI to 14 TPI). It is excellent for sawing 6/4 thicknesses and over in most hardwoods and is most often used for cutting the cheeks of tenons, although it can also be used for box joints and dovetails in larger projects. Your dull blades may be rotated with us for sharpening ($15 sharpening fee). The screws on the back of the saw secure the blade.
